Happy Eid Mubarak - Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri

The Ramadhan is almost over, after the Raya, things would probbaly return back to routine. Some of the paintball teams have been practising either on weekends or at night. . I guess everybody needs to be back in good physical shape. Such a short time to practice......The Royal Johore Paintball Cup is just about two weeks after the Raya. Anyways enjoy the hols. To all frens and visitors to the blogsite, Team Killer Beez would like to wish all Selamat Hari Raya, and for those driving outstation, pls drive safely, We'll meet again in Johor Bahru for the finale of the MPOC 2008. MPOC Final Round - JB 25th & 26th Oct

Yup...... Killer Beez will close off this year MPOC season in JB where we will defend our championship title for 2008. Only 4 points differences from our closest challenger, this definitely require us to work harder to ensure the title is ours.


Date is confirmed... field layout already published... just the matter of time where will will fight for our honour...

Merdeka Day - Super 7 - Malaysia Open @ Astaka

So there we were with Rimba Warriors playing in our second ever 7 on 7  tourney. The tournament this time seems a bit more meriah with lots more teams adding to the fun.. We were playing in the 2nd division with a total of 8 teams, Rimba Warriors, BallBuster, Lemon Rusky, Urban Rush, CMX, NoMercy, Orient Legion and another team (sorry cant remember their callsign). Most of the teams were a combined teams, nice to see some familiar faces. All Div 2 games were to be played at Field One.

Day1, Saturday

Day 1 started on Saturday, as early as 0810, we were playing back to back, which was quite taxing actually. We had Hafiz, Hafizil, Iqbal, Herman, Pingu, Mamat, Speck and myself on that day. Everybody was playing very fast games. We lost 3 games to Teams Ballbuster, Lemon Rusky and NoMercy and won 5 games (played twice against NoMercy - lost one, won one). 

There was some initial confusion on the format of the games but was later clarified. By midday, the prelims was over - quite fast - very efficient. By end of the prelims, RimbaWarrior was ranked 3rd, below Lemon Rusky and NoMercy. Not a bad day outing lah. It rained quite heavily sometime in the afternoon though.

Day2, Sunday - 51st Independence Day

Day 2, Ice came after missing the 1st day tourney, We were slotted to play BallBuster in the knockout Quarters, best of 3 games, Rimba Warriors took the 1st set but subsequently lost the rest of the sets. We were out of the tourney. We lost, could have done better but...However, our objectives to expose the team members to 7 man format tourney was achieved. We will have to identify and close the gaps to better ourselves.

Overall, the organisation and technicals of the tourney was good, air was consistently above 4000psi. Good tourney all around - kudos to NEMESIS PB Club and the organisers.

Thank to IsiRimba, Team Warrior and Ibu for letting us play. We hope we've not disappointed anyone. And congrats also to Team Rimba Bandits for the podium finish.
