MPOC4.UIAM.16-17 Aug08...Lock and Load

	Dear Team, MPOC4 UIAM is just around the corner, it would b one of the last tourney, before the Ramadhan, the other being the Super 7 on the 31st. We know what the stakes are, our strength and weaknesses and what we've GOT to do....so lets DO IT and DO IT right.
	Okie dokie, UIAM MPOC4 has just concluded, and the good thing is..we managed to get into the finals..again, however, the Div 2 championship is still not within our grasp. Todate, we've completed a hatrick for being 1st runners up..hmmmmmm. Ok, so its not that bad lah...considering. We were missing some key players, Alex and Sky was unable to play, but we'll do our best regardless of the circumstances. <- our proud banner
Day One of MPOC4 The day started at 1600 on a clouded Saturday at the Hamzah Stadium in UIAM, Republic of Gombak. The weather was good, and the field looks great. M7 games was played on the Luxe field, Lotsa big bunkers, it was set to be an attacking game. Our first game was against Team Immortalz from Penang. The game started badly with Team Killer Beez (KBz), downed 2 - 0. Pingu was already screaming murder. Come ON guys. Somehow we managed to claw back from disaster and drew the sets. Left flanking Zafry and Speck played a major role in stopping the advance of the Immortalz. Our right flank was attacking, and we clinched our wining points. Immortalz played a good game. Score was 3-2 in KBz favour. Double Phews. Our second game for the day was against a revived Assassin X, with GunGrave player contributing to the team. Assassin X took the first 2 sets (again..ouch), they look set to take the game..but, we clawed back and drew the sets. Final set was good and KBz clinched it, score was set at 3-2. That ended the day for us with a slight drizzle. Isharuddin (9W2ISH) and Arif from XtionPaintball, crewed for us. Thanx guys, we really couldn't do it without you guys. 	Super Sunday The day started early for us, our game was scheduled to start at 0900, our first game was against a very strong and fast team, SPECTRE from Penang, they have improved, as seen in the Penang tourney. They have not dropped a game. The game between KBz and Spectre was intensed, again the opposing team had a 2 - 0 advantage over KBz. Its looks like a habit with us, we've got to do something. Again we managed to fight back and drew the game. 1 more game to beat them. The deciding game was not good, there were some hardware failures, KBz first defeat for the tourney, Spectre took the game at 3 - 2. Our fightbacks earned us the comeback king title...heh hehs, but not this time. But, it was always great and challenging to play against this team, with their way of play and all.
	The noon sun shined very brightly and the day became hotter....very much hotter. Our morale came down a notch. Our second game was in about an hour, against another tough team, CMX Buccaneers. It was a do or die, in Penang, KBz and CMX was tied in points and a one on one was played to decide the team that was to be in the finals, the game was in favour of KBz, today, we knew it was not going to be easy.
	KBz took the first 2 sets with a 2 - 0 scoreline, CMX fought back and took a set. The 4th set finished with some controversy, that put some spice in the tourney. Conflicting calls resulted in the 4th matched being declared void and a one on one between the remaining players of both team was initially decided. However, the teams decided on a rematch, which was agreed upon by the Marshalls - good call.
	CMX and KBz fought hard, CMX suffered a one for one penalty. KBz rushed and concluded the game with a 3 - 1 scoreline. We were in the finals for the 4th consecutive times, we were hoping for a better luck this time. Oh yeah, Pedro Mud did a 'tenggiling' move and injured his knee (maybe just another excuse to visit the medics...heh heh heh). Liza Glam and Edy of IsiRimba crewed, coached and spotted for us. Thanx to both of them. The finals was to be played at 1500, and the day's heat doesn't seem to be letting up. The waiting and the heat took us out of focus and momentum. <- KBz multicolored look
	The Finals Spectre took the first set, KBz replied and took the second set quickly, score set at 1 - 1. A gas blow out hit AXN's marker, and fast move by Spectre flanking from both sides resulted in the a victory for Spectre. Spectre took the 4th set after an intensed battle...and Spectre clinched the Div 2 championship. It was a good show overall. Subsonique was great as MC for the day. More good food and drinks for Marshalls - It was a HOT HOT day.
